About the Film
The Cast

Born in Brazil to a second generation of German immigrants, Tom has been in the U.S. since 2005. After two years of study he is now about to conclude his full-time acting program at the HB Studio in NYC.

Having studied and trained on the major "Techniques, Methods and Approaches", Tom has been busy in and outside the Studio where he’s member of the HB Ensemble, a joint project between the HB Studio and the HB Playwrights Foundation.

"Tom’s Phone" is Tom’s (the Schubert, not the guy who owns the phone… although he also has owned a few cellular phones) second film in the city. Kwanik Park’s "Birthday Gift" was the first one (no, the gift wasn’t a phone and luckily there was no character called Tom in it).

On stage some of his recent productions include, "Mad Dog Blues", "Happy Hour", "Summerfolk", "Master and Margarita", "The Zoo Story", "Victor Victoria" and various productions by SEA (Society of Educational Arts), a Children’s Repertory Company where he can really "play" to, with and as a child.

In Brazil, theater credits include W.Shakespeare’s "Romeo & Juliet" and F. Dürrenmatt’s "The Visit". TV credits in the TV Globo Series "Sandy & Junior".
